SIX Summits / Ride for water×

A bowl of pasta and one too many bottles of red wine.  The perfect setting for a bunch of enthusiastic (arrogant) cyclists to conjure up the unthinkable.  Whilst more established rides include Victoria's 3 hardest climbs, no one would ever dare to tackle six of Victoria's toughest alpine climbs at once, let alone in a single day.

To help raise money for those who are in need, Bike Gallery and One Billion have turned the original idea into unquestionably the most epic single day charity ride in Australia.  On November 27, cyclists will embark on tackling six of the toughest climbs the Victorian alps have to offer in one day.

Mt Baw Baw, Lake Mountain, Mt Buller, Mt Buffalo, Falls Creek and Mt Hotham

Starting their first pedal stroke before dawn, the cyclist will continue riding well into the evening.  With over 120km of pedalling and 6262 vertical meters of climbing at an average gradient of over 5%, the mountains will try to destroy the rider.

To help motivate the individuals keen (stupid) enough to tackle this monstrous challenge we need your support! You can make a donation through charitywater.org and help us achieve our goal of $12 000!  For more info, you can check out the awesome website, sixsummits.com.au or follow the campaign on Twitter @six_summits
