Welcome to 2014.×

A week into Bike Gallery’s 2014 we wanted to share with you some really exciting news for the upcoming year.

1. BG’s New Renovation

Over the store’s Christmas break building legend Dean Kellett came in and gave the shop a well deserved facelift. Gone was the old bike rack replaced with a gorgeous plywood front that fits in excellently with the rest of the store. Inside the structure we also now have a new change room to make it easier for you when trying on lush Rapha and Bike Gallery goods. This has been something that we’d been wanting to do for a while and it was fantastic to finally find it realised.

2. A raft of new bikes.

In 2014 we are very happy to see the arrival of some great bikes from our friends at Cervélo. Amongst a greatly updated range the new R3 in particular has captured our attention. Built up with either 11sp mechanical or electronic Shimano Ultegra, it is the perfect machine for those looking to get the most out of their bike whether riding on the cobblestones of Northern France or tackling Mt Baw Baw head on. Another addition to Bike Gallery this year is the Focus Izalco Max which built with SRAM Red tips the scales at an astonishing 6.2 kilograms.

3. The New SS14 Range from Rapha

Shrouded in secrecy that is normally reserved for MI5 and Apple, Rapha’s lastest Spring/Summer range will be arriving sometime in the near future. Expect vibrant colour ways of favourite jerseys like the Pro Team and Super Lightweight as well as some brand new additions to the range.

4. More Good Times spent Riding

For the last three years the Bike Gallery shop ride has ventured down the beach for a combination of a good hit out and great times spent between mates. We’d like to thank everybody who’s attended a shop ride and been involved. This year in addition to the regular shop ride we are also planning to host a selection of women’s rides throughout the year. These along with the shop ride and the familiar sight of BG jersey’s littered throughout racing Victoria wide will lead to another enjoyable year of riding.
